 As a festival photographer, capturing the energy and excitement of live performances is one of my favorite aspects of the job. Documenting two back-to-back performances for the dynamic DJ duo Mr Belt & Wezol, I had the pleasure of witnessing and capturing their sets at both the New Horizons Festival in Germany and Mysteryland in the Netherlands.

Two Festivals, One Weekend

The weekend was a whirlwind of music, lights, and unforgettable moments. The first stop was New Horizons Festival in Nürburg, Germany—a massive event known for its diverse lineup and high-energy performances. As one of the most anticipated festivals in Europe, New Horizons provided the perfect backdrop for an amazing performance by Mr Belt & Wezol. The very next day, we were off to Mysteryland, one of the oldest and most prestigious dance festivals in the Netherlands, held in Haarlemmermeer. Having the opportunity to photograph at two iconic festivals in two different countries over the span of a weekend was both challenging and exhilarating. Each event had its own unique vibe, and my goal was to capture the essence of both performances and the connection between the artists and their audiences.

Capturing the Duo’s Energy

Mr Belt & Wezol have a reputation for bringing an unmatched level of energy to their performances.
